Tag Inspector’s new intelligent crawler will not be detected by analytics tools, thus not affecting any of your data. In addition, the tag hierarchy report will show exactly how a tag is firing on the site. Whether on the source of the page, within a tag management system, or even piggy-backing off another tag, the hierarchy views will give you a complete picture of your tag pyramid. Nifty when migrating to a tag management system and needing an inventory of tags firing across your site.
With over 1000 tags in our library, you can be confident your tags will not be missed. There is no limit to how many tags we can scan for and show in the reports and interface. Auditing your site for all tags and marketing technologies is a breeze.
See where tags are firing across your site AND where they are not firing across your site. The detailed reports will show exactly where and how tags are firing, and even what cookies were set by tags. An added bonus is our Google Analytics troubleshooting modules which shows critical errors in analytics deployment as well as which account and property numbers were fired on site.
Robust scanning power at your control. Whether you are a back-end developer or digital marketer, the scanning options will enable you to perform a site audit within seconds. Limit your scan to just a subset of pages and empower teams to make quick decisions around tag management.
Make sure you and your client’s data is both protected and compliant. Data from your tags can often be hijacked, especially when piggy-backing of tags occur. The Policies features allow you to be alerted when a tag is found when it shouldn’t be, when a tag is missing entirely, or even if a tag isn’t loading in the correct way, such as directly on the source of the site and not deployed through a tag management system.
Tag Inspector offers you the ability to scan XML sitemaps. An XML sitemap is essentially a document that aids the Tag Inspector crawler and other major crawlers to better understand a website while crawling it. These files require a list of URLs on a website or may contain a specific list of URLs that they want the crawler to read. Tag Inspector has the capability to crawl through each of the URLs present in an XML sitemap and discover the tags included on them.
