Tag Management Tips: Testing Tags and Pixels

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

What tags and pixels are on my site? Did my Facebook Pixel get implemented before our campaign kicked off this morning? Are these things even collecting the data we asked for?

We hear these questions constantly from digital marketers. And the thing is, all of them can be easily answered (without the help of IT or your dev team) with a quick, manual look at the tags on your site.

You may be thinking: “Tags and pixels are code…and I don’t know how that stuff works!”

Luckily for you, back in 2016 we  explained exactly that. In the video below, I go into more depth on the easiest way to manually check tags on a site. We walk you through how to use the Network tab in your browser (super simple, I promise) to make sure the tags in question are firing and all required data is being collected.

Check it out!

If you are looking for tag auditing and validation at a larger scale, drop us a line below and we will be happy to reach out and speak further about how Tag Inspector can help with all of your testing and validation needs.
