Study Highlights Importance of Integrated Marketing Analytics – Forrester Consulting, an independent research firm that analyzes the impact technology change can have on both businesses and society as a whole, recently published its research on successful marketers and how they use analytics solutions to maximize the value of consumer interactions. Dashbot Introduces Analytics Platform for Chatbots – Chatbots, which are used in various platforms across the internet for interacting with human consumers, will now have the capability of being analyzed through Dashbot’s new analytics solution. Additionally, Dashbot’s new solution also includes a live “human feature,” which will allow company employees to take the place of Chatbots in conversations that require more human interaction. FTC Finds New FCC Regulations Inconsistent for Consumer Protection – An independent agency of the United States government tasked with consumer protection, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently criticized the recent privacy ruling of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) because of its distance from the core principles of the overall organizational multi-year strategic plan. The recent ruling, which holds different privacy standards for broadband providers and general users, simply “makes no sense” to the FTC given how this approach is not optimal for consumer protection. UberMedia Launches “Optimal GeoSpace” Tracking – By analyzing “billions of high-quality location data points over a period of time” and then algorithmically adjusting the data points based on actual behavior, UberMedia has developed “Optimal GeoSpaces,” which illustrate the optimal shopping area for each location analyzed. Based on the illustrated examples given, these “optimal geospaces” may change throughout the day due to consumer variables, such as foot traffic.
