Ensighten Joins the IBM Universal Behavior Exchange – As one of the leaders in the enterprise tag management space, Ensighten announced its integration with the IBM Universal Behavior Exchange on Wednesday. IBM’s VP of Customer Analytics Ken Bisconti said, “Brands are looking to harness data from all of their disparate technologies and data sources so they can fuel both insight and action. Tealium Talks Data Management at Click Summit 2016 – Designer of the Tealium iQ tag management system, Tealium presented at the 2016 Click Summit about the importance of leveraging and testing within the data ecosystem. Google Reveals Firebase Analytics at I/O 2016 – An array of incredible reveals were had at Google’s I/O 2016 annual developer conference this week, one of which included the expansion of Firebase as a more unified platform for mobile development. Firebase, an already versatile platform for mobile event type reporting and campaign performance monitoring, will now have both Google Tag Manager and Tag Manager 360 expanding its capabilities for mobile applications. Commerce Department’s Survey Highlights Need for Privacy – Earlier this week, a United States Department of Commerce survey suggested thousands of Americans are exiting the online community in light of fears for privacy and security. An analyst at the Commerce Department named Rafi Goldberg noted that a user’s belief in their personal data being private and secure is the grounds for which the Internet will grow. Qubit Emphasizes being “Data Informed” at Conversion Conference 2016 – Qubit, designer of the Opentag enterprise tag management solution, presented at the 2016 Conversion Conference in Las Vegas.
